Over the weekend Mike and I played a couple of courses in Mississippi, U.S.A. Lake Lowndes and Bulldawg (on the campus of MSU). Saturday, we met up with Jeff and Judy Hadel, of Starkville Mississippi, to play the Bulldawg course in Starkville. We couldn't have asked for better course guides. Course Designer, Jeff Hadel knew the course like the back of his hand and Judy had all the facts down. Two wonderful people that I am glad to have had the pleasure to meet. We had loads of fun!!!
Bulldawg
Located on the campus of the Mississippi State University in Starkville, this course is clean and well maintained. A great course design -- mostly wooded, with dirt t-pads and 18 holes marked with Chainstar baskets makes this a fun and challenging disc golf course. Between the t-pad and the basket on hole 2 is a slippery slope. Don't fall! LOL!
Briar patches lining some fairways range from thin to thick.
A plan to install benches is in the works for this year, 2006.
If your 'course design of choice' is 'tight and friendly', you should definately play a few rounds here.

Located off Hwy 82 in Columbus, Mississippi, USA, Lake Lowndes has a wonderful disc golf course with 20 pole-holes and cement t-pads. Mostly open fairways with four water hazards from the lake create a mixture of challenge and ease. Three marked tee-off areas per hole provide choices per experience. So, for a great game of disc golf go out to Lake Lowndes in Columbus, Mississippi.
